                               RESOLUTION NO. 18788
                   
                   
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR 
                   OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS TO 
                   CONTRACT WITH EUGENE BOWMAN, APPRAISER, TO 
                   PERFORM AN APPRAISAL OF A 15+-ACRE TRACT 
                   LOCATED NEAR WISDOM STREET, RELATIVE TO A 
                   PIT BURNER LOCATION, FOR A TOTAL AMOUNT OF 
                   ONE THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($1,000.00).
                   
                   
                                                     
                   
                   
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Administrator of the Department 
       of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to contract with 
       Eugene Bowman, Appraiser, to perform an appraisal of a 15+-acre 
       tract located near Wisdom Street, relative to a pit burner 
       location, for a total amount of $1,000.00, which amount includes 
       $500.00 for appraisal, including background study and sales 
       brochure and an estimate of time spent in preparation for 
       condemnation, as well as appearance as an expert witness in court 
       at a cost of $500.00 if necessary.
